    Tim is Managing Director of Tysers Live, one of the world's largest entertainment insurance brokers, focussing on live events, touring, sports and festivals.     Jake Warriner, company Director at SC Productions Ltd, has now been with the company for 9 years and works across Event, Site and Production Management of outdoor events and festivals ranging from 5,000 - 90,000 people. Most recently Jake site managed the Principality Stadium, and Wembley stadium dates on Taylor Swift's - The Eras Tour, and for the past 4 years has site managed Bloodstock Festival, who are a member of the AIF.

    Tim looks after the insurance needs for a large roster of Live industry clients, with a particular focus on promoters, artists and the supply chain. With almost 20 years insurance experience, 15 in the Live space, he sees himself as part of the client’s team and has been involved in numerous (!) claims, from small additional costs to complicated multi-million cancellations. This experience, and a keen eye for detail, ensure that his clients understand their risk, and how best to protect against it.

  • Lloyd Major

    Lloyd Major has nearly 20 years of policing experience including being an expert trainer, public order command and counter-terrorism. Developing his expertise at the College of Policing, Emergency Planning College and a Master's Degree at Coventry University, Lloyd progressed to sit on two National Police Chief's Council policy & working groups, NPEGG & TTWEG, the National Policing Events Gold Group and Tactical Training and Work Equipment Group to write national policy on policing festivals and events. Lloyd also sat on the Safety Advisory Group in Nottinghamshire before joining Tactical Support at the National Counter Terrorism Police Operations Centre in 2016 to 2019 where he did a brief stint as the Acting Head of Tactical Support during the tragic events of the Manchester Arena Bombing.

    Kate is an award-winning consultant for festivals, live entertainment and brands.

    Specialising in development, growth and CX, Kate’s experience has spanned events across the globe, including the GlobalGathering festivals and Godskitchen events, as well the Tao Group portfolio of nightclubs, dayclubs and hospitality venues in Las Vegas.

    Over the last decade, Kate’s work has been within the UK’s independent festival scene, acting as Festival Director for El Dorado festival, as Board Director for The Collab agency, and serving on the Non-Exec Board of the AIF.

    Kate is currently supporting the AIF on their special projects.

  • Sam Taylor

    Sam Taylor writes about streaming, deals and technology for music business publication CMU, the independently owned music industry newsletter which is read by 25,000+ people each day. Through CMU he consults for a range of music businesses in the UK and Europe, including IMPALA, FAC, IVORS, and others. He programmes the conference at Sound City, and sits on the advisory board of Wide Days.

  • Em Weridigan

    Em became a Green Gathering director in 2013 after a decade touring an organic travelling cafe around UK festivals. She continues to assist in various roles at independent events from Knockengorroch in Scotland to Small World in Kent.

    A hands-on director, Em manages Green Gathering’s traders, coordinates publicity, and is passionate about sustainability topping the agenda. She also curates the festival’s Enchanted Woods - a space filled with art and magic, aiming to realign humans and nature.
